Job Description

  • Region: Cambridge

  • Salary: £35,000 – 45,000 a year

  • Job type: Full-time, Permanent

  • Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday

Chaffin Works are industry leaders in the delivery of site clearance, tree surgery, fencing, landscaping, grounds maintenance and ecological consultancy for commercial and public sector clients across the South East, we are renowned for providing high quality services for our clients, having an excellent company culture and are well known for our development of colleagues.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Contracts Manager to join the team, driving the progression and development of our highways contracts (arb and de-veg schemes). Working alongside the Head of Arb you will have experience in managing teams, pricing, planning and delivery. You will be building business relationships and seeing contracts through to fruition, playing a key role within the team.

You will be a confident communicator with the ability to develop and build on relationships, helping to enhance our portfolio.

As Contracts Manager for Arboricultural works you will have:

  • Leadership experience
  • Technical & industry knowledge
  • Estimating experience
  • Contract management experience
  • Programming/resource management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding and experience in commercial processes

Essential requirements: Driving Licence

Desirable requirements: Hold SMSTS qualification or be willing to work toward this.

Experience: Contract management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Full UK drivers licence (required)
